shareI just finished watching TASM 2 and I came here to check Dane's imdb page. I do remember him from Kill your Darlings. And I do admit his character from KYD might fall into the same spectrum as Harry from TASM 2, but then I noticed he was Cricket from Lawless and I was honestly blown away.
I would've never placed Harry and Cricket side by side and thought they were both played by the same actor. At all.
He was completely different. Granted, he played Cricket as what some might refer to as someone "slow", a kind of woobie, if you might, but he did it very subtly because I remenber his character very well and there wasn't any hamminess that I could detect.
Perhaps, you should check out more of his movies. See what else he's done.
If anything, you have to admit he's pretty decent.

shareHe also played a redneck kid in True Blood and I didn't even realized it was the same guy.
shareHe made Chronical what it was and it didn't suck, much like the other movies he is in. He has a striking face and a deep voice so he suits those roles. You know way too much about him though to make me believe he really annoys you... You're just the wrong audience, and if you disliked chronical so much you're probably just too old.... And how you dont remember him from Lawless is absurd haha
