reminds me so much of my highschool girlfriend

well, at least her character on homeland is. the way she looks, talks, the things she says, that defiant attitude that comes with being intelligent at that age, how ridiculously cute as a button she is...

it was all so familiar that the show revolved around her for me. it was bizarre and i've never had a character on tv remind me so much of someone or some time of my life. from what i've read on other posts though, i'm not the only one who felt like she was the emotional center of the show. good for her, i hope this character is given more screen time next season. although honestly, it's so strange and nostalgic it drives me crazy!
