She showed real poise and recovery...

IMO, the fact that she just continued to plow through the sketch despite the slip-up means she IS ready for more SNL sketches. Most people would have completely crumbled. That was live and she was the lead performer in her fist sketch and just picked up and carried on. She demonstrated total professionalism and a real performer's heart. If that were most people, they would just just ran off the stage. I was very impressed. Props to Seth for hugging her and smiling at the end. I would have liked to have seen all of them hugging her in a show of solidarity.

Yeah, if I did that exact same thing on accident, I would've made that face and then have said "Oh... sh!t!" SNL still sucks though. I can't stand it. When Will Ferrell left, the cast definately went downhill from there.

Yeah, I agree with you. However, I didn't see the moment, but I do know enough that she apparently showed enough composure to stay up there and finish the skit and that's probably why she was chosen to join the cast--one of a pleathora of reasons of course. People who do stage work and the like have a mastery of body language and composure that lots of people who don't work in it usually don't. In other words, she stayed "cool" so to speak.

Actually she should have done the only honorable thing: As soon as she realized what she had done, she should have killed herself on live television. Yup. Thats the ticket!! :P Hahaha sorry im in a silly, over-tired/no sleep mood tonight. She actually should have shot Kristin Wiig on live television so we'd never have to suffer to another "Target Lady" skit, lmao!!
