Chernobyl Diaries SPOILERS

I usually hate most of the modern horror films that I see(for the same reason I hate most modern Sci-Fi films) due to over indulgent use of CGI. However, there really wasn't any CGI in this film at all. The film didn't really show the mutants either. They were always in the shadows which is better (to me) because it creates tension and lets your mind fill in the blanks (something that is severely missing from modern films). While there were some scenes that looked like they will filmed on a handheld camera and the characters did some stupid things (most people I meet in real life are stupid so they were acting just like "normal" stupid people)I still enjoyed the film. Olivia didn't have much screen time, but what little she did have was memorable. I will look out for her in future films. Hopefully she will be in more horror films that are fun and not big budget crapfests that rely more on CGI and senseless gore rather than the human element.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe...
