Never understood Pattinson's success in the film industry ; below average looks, certainly lacks charm and only passably ok actor. Different type of look from Efron so wouldn't necessarily saying he was better looking, just different. Cuter than Lautner? As cute. Taylor still has a slightly boyish attractiveness, which Colt has now lost of course, as we do! :)

The studios don't want openly gay actors just yet rather than society. Let's not forget too in the major movies which studios want to sell well beyond the liberal West, these conservative societies will never accept homosexuality wherever it is known to be.
Otherwise, closeted gay actors are all known to the studios who make sure their sexuality is kept well hidden, purely for their commercial purposes.
