Thanks for the nice pictures! What did win if Poldark didn't?

"How was the war, sir?"
"As any war—a waste of good men." (Poldark)

reply

You're welcome! The show that won was a show named "Call the Midwife". I've never seen it before.

I haven't seen it either, but it is available on Netflix, I think. I recently ran into someone who's watched it and thought it was great, so maybe I'll give it a try if I have the time once of these days.

I found an interesting article in "The Daily Mail": http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-4166520/Aidan-Turner-Eleanor-Tomlinson-shoot-Poldark-season-3.html

It references Poldark losing to Call the Midwife.

Thanks Wendy. The Daily Mail certainly stays up on their Poldark news...just wish they wouldn't continually focus on Poldark's shirtless scenes that only lasted 30 seconds or less. Gees one would think he never had his shirt on the way they talk about it continually.

reply

They do seem obsessed with it, don't they? I'm not sure why. I once actually counted the number of minutes in the first season he had his shirt off, and it was something like 2 minutes in all If I remember correctly. Although, I must say I did like that bath scene in the second season! LOL
