"Get a Life"!
You are quoting William Shatner, I believe, after an early encounter at a Star Trek convention with a star trek "geek". I don't hold anything against the geek (and SciFi geekdom, though not my bag) or with shatner's response. Two different worlds and lifestyles and perspectives collided. However, I do think shatman should have been more restrained at an event where one of his acting roles had elevated to mega-cult (which is not a sensible category, I realize) status.
In any case I praise the OP in expressing the emotion he has for a public figure in entertainment. I share the sentiment actually but this does not equate, for me, to an aspiration of contact with the artist, in the real or virtual world. Its great that he expressed his feeling and this is nothing but a compliment.
I don't mind if you disagree with the OPs admiration of Ellie Kemper but do mind that you ridicule his expression itself.
On whether Ellie will ever see his comment (the core of your ridicule towards the OP): I would actually guess that Ellie is likely to run across the message. She isn't J Lo and though she is gaining visibility, is still on her way up the ladder. If I were in the same situation as an actress, I wouldn't be able to resist looking at my very own IMDB message board from time to time.
Hi Ellie!
