reminds me of Jonathan Rhys Meyers

Have only seen him in The Prisoner so far, but he reminds me a lot of JRM at the same age. Anyone else see a resemblance (in both appearance and vibe)?

What?! Are you kidding me?! That is an insult to Mr. Rhys Meyers.

"A boy's best friend is his mother." Yeah. Norman Bates needs a dog.

I see what you mean, especially Velvet Goldmine era Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Right. Well, I have to - I have to go now, Duane, because I, I'm due back on the planet Earth.

reply

Yea especially when I saw him in New Moon he looked like a younger Jonathan to me.

I agree totally. I thought he was Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Winter in Wartime especially while he had a hat on. The only give away was that he looked a bit too young.

My husband knows I fancy Jonathan, and when he saw a picture of Jamie he sent me a copy with a note mentioning the resemblance, and I have to agree - in quite a few shots they almost look like they could pass for brothers, though others there's a more noticeable distinction, so it depends a bit on the angle and lighting, etc.

Just coming here to say the exact same thing! In New Moon he looked like Velvet Goldmine Jonathan.

That is a bit of an insult to JRM when he was younger, lol...I agree.

My GF had the hots for JRM for awhile... and she had the hots for JCB until she saw the trailer for City of Bones. He looks very thin and sickly compared to just a few years ago.

Well Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays his father in the movie "The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones". So I would say the casting director also thought they looked alike. I see it too!
