Artificial Leg?

Maybe someone out there can clear up a ongoing debate were having at out house. At times it looks like he walks with a limp, and we have wondered if it's because he might have an amputated leg. I could be wrong but... can anyone shed some light on this?

I thought he walks more like someone who is a "little person" or whatever the PC word of the day is for some kind of dwarfism.

Does Atticus Shaffer (Brick from the Middle) have a bad leg?
He seems to limp around a lot. He's very funny though!

Atticus Shaffer has brittle bone disease so throughout his younger childhood, he broke his legs several times. I have read that he has also had surgeries to place rods in his legs.
So that might explain his limping around.
Brittle bone disease also explains his short stature despite being 11 years old.

According to a letter set by a little person to a talk show host, dwarf is still acceptable, midget is the term that's considered offensive

What's offensive about midget?

Nothing. Nothing at all. The bleeding heart liberal douchebag grammar patrol is trying to control what you can and cannot say.

Let them call themselves whatever they want. It doesn't mean the rest of the *beep* world has to also. It's like the word "retarded". The bleeding heart liberals want you to say "mentally challenged". Leave it to liberals to wrap up a turd in silk to try and make it more "friendly". It is what it is.
