Great replacement for Spartacus

Thought he was average for the first few episodes, but his performance grew on me.

I think everyone tried to compare him to Andy too much... he was killing it by the end and was a great replacement for Andy.

RIP Andy, great work Liam.

Yes, I think so too, that he was too much compared to Andy. But that was natural, don't you think? Andy was well loved and it was really brave of Liam to take on that role. He did a simply brilliant job, really grew into the role!

Yep, spot on. They were always going to be compared. I was guilty of that early on.
What an ending, not your typical Hollywood close out.

He had some big shoes to fill and I wish some had had the grace to give him time to fill them before some of the unfair criticism started.

I enjoyed Andy's role but by the end of the War of the Damned, Liam owned it. When he comes up over the hill in the final episode hunting for Crassus covered in blood, hair matted down and eyes glowering with vengeance, he looked epic.

Gratitude to all that were involved in this utterly fabulous show.

Its not that Liam 'forgot' its just that his style of acting and speaking was totally different. It didn't leave much room for genuine emotion.
