Melissa Benoist's star is rising fast.

I'm on the Benoist hype train with you.

Exactly. She is extremely attractive with just a touch of the girl next door in her.
Plus she's a very good actress who is incredibly likeable on the show and is outstanding as Kara.

It looks like the casting director has done a great job with the choice of Melissa Benoist for this role. She is really nailing it so far.

For a moment. I thought there was casting couch joke coming. I'm glad there wasn't one.

Years ago when he was on the Howard Stern Show. Woody Harrelson talks about the casting couch. And it goes both ways.

Woody talked about when he started out how one producer wanted to have sex with him as her husband watch them.

Howard Hughes used the casting couch to pick out his new girlfriends. And Joan Collins admitted that she once laid on the couch to get a part. And then later, she used the couch so she could have sex with a young actor that she liked and was trying to get a part in a movie she was in.

The casting couch is a real thing. It's just something that's not talked about.

Well even the buildup to Supergirl and the first two episodes have raised her profile considerably.
