Any recommendations for films where she’s not just ‘meh’?

I’ve seen her in a few things now, some may have been by accident (as in I didn’t know it was her); I don’t actively seek her out.
I can only recall three films I have seen her in, in which she featured prominently - Tomb Raider, The Danish Girl and most recently Tulip Fever.
TR I don’t remember and fell asleep anyway so haven’t ever finished it. I’m sure, due to the action nature of the film, she did ok? Not like it’s a high brow, dramatic or passionate type of film.
I recall she had some spunk in TDG and her character showed passion and emotion; maybe it was just the character and she managed to convey that.
However, having just seen her in TF I’m wondering if it was a poorly made film in terms of her character, it was supposed to be like that or that she’s not a very good actress. There was no passion whatsoever. She was supposed to be having a secret affair with an artist and left everything for him (but for me there wasn’t an ounce of chemistry or passion between or from either her character or Dane DeHaan’s artist).

I liked her also in Man from Uncle and Sevth Son. I waiting for the Green Knihjt to come out and see that.

Thanks!
I have seen Man from Uncle and The Seventh Son but completely forgot she was in the former and didn’t know she was in the latter.
Yes, I did enjoy MfU so she must have been fine in that....I saw tSS ages ago, but don’t remember having any complaints lol.
I don’t know about The Green Knight so will research that one.

I loved her in Testament of Youth. Her best work by far from those I’ve seen. A Royal Affair and Ex Machina are pretty good too.

Thanks, I haven’t seen the last two, so will check them out.
I think they are on watch lists between Netflix and Amazon Prime!
Again you’ve reminded me of one of those films I’ve seen her in without knowing - Testament of Youth. I did like that, and that was a very emotional film.

I think she was good in Ex Machina. Haven't seen her other works, except for The Danish Girl.

She's always meh.

You're suppose to look at her and want to fuck her. That's all.

That being said, she did convince as a robot in Ex Machina. Make of that what you will.

Well, unfortunately I’m not gay lol

She's one of my favourites. She gave a great performance in "Earthquake Bird" - available on Netflix.

Thanks, not seen that advertised on there, will have to search for it.

The Light Between The Oceans (2016)

Extremely impressive performance. Her emotions in the wedding scene were unexpected but natural.

Thanks, that’s on my list to watch.

I just watched that and it was good. She just needs a script and director for movies. Hopefully Tomb Raider 2 will get those.
