Well, now we know what kind of foreign actress career she'll have.

For a while I wasn't sure which way her career was gonna go, a lot of time there's a new face from some other country who strikes it big in the US for a few years then we get bored of them and they disappear.

With her as Lara Croft, if it does well enough for a sequel, she'll be locked in for a US movie career for a decade or more like Charlize Theron, Naomi Watts, Nicole Kidman, etc. Long as the movie doesn't totally flop.
