Quick answer - she's Michael Fassbender's girlfriend. Some of his "fans" can't deal with that and hate on her all over the Internet. They'll deny that's the reason but 95% of the hate she gets is from them.
shareIt is actually a very vocal few, they are just jealous for one reason or another. You are correct, as an actress she is one of the very best in her age range and deserves the good roles (and lots of $$ Money) that she gets.
The studios obviously know this also and her being in a movie will bring in many more bucks.

I can understand disliking a Megan Fox or Jessica Alba type of mediocre blockbuster actress getting a lot of attention but not an actual actress like Alicia Vikander. She's a good actress and that's all that matters because I don't know her and will only ever know her on screen persona.
