Why she never works with

Why she never works with Roy Anderson?!
I wish she cares about working in her country too and with European directors too

Confused - 12 of Vikander's most recent films have been with European directors:

Lisa Lanseth. Hotel
Joe Wright. Anna Karenina
Nikolaj Arjul. A Royal Affair
James Kent. Testament of Youth
Alex Garland. Ex Machina
Justin Chadwick. Tulip Fever
Guy Ritchie. Man from Uncle
Tom Hooper. The Danish Girl
Paul Greengrass. Jason Bourne
Wim Wenders. Submerge me
Lisa Langseth. Euphoria
Roar Uthaug. Tomb Raider

That's nearly her whole career exclusively with European directors!

Some people will never let facts get in the way of their perceptions.

In Roy Andersson’s films the image is central. He works with what he calls "the complex picture", filmed with a stationary camera and without cuts. Close-ups are banned because he believes that humans have to be portrayed in their environment to be interesting.

And the reason that Alicia or any familiar face from the big screen haven't worked with him is that he doesn't want to waste any money on a big actor/ess who will act as the poster for his films. That's after all his trademark. He doesn't like when an actor has been involved in too many other films before. He says;

"- In addition, the selection is much bigger in the community. We are nine million [now ten] citizens, but only a few thousand actors. I like to see new faces. Almost all people have the potential, because we all play roles in our lives."

Lisa Langseth directed Alicia in her breakthrough role in Pure and now Euphoria, which is in post-production.

Uhm...Roy Andersson doesn't make that many films. 2 friends of mine had a scene in his latest. They were hired by him on the street, basically. He's not exactly conventional.

Especially since she has her own production company.
