The mouthy stupid b*tch only has herself to blame - stop spewing your- or anyone's views, as a person in the public eye.

Same goes for all the equally moronic and sub-educational famous people.

Neo Cons, Alt right and Neo nazis etc (whatever impotent excuse for an adjective you Yanks use) just don't get it.

The mouthy stupid b*tch [...] moronic and sub-educational

It's quite amazing to what point wokes hate people who don't share their faith. 🤔

Neo Cons, Alt right and Neo nazis etc

That reminds me when every Atheist was a Satan Worshipper and a Communist. Here's the same mindset: if you're a non-believer, if you don't practice the woke faith, then you're Far-Right and Neo Nazi!

Religions follow the same pattern.

reply

Nothing behind it, act dumb get hung.

Simple as.

reply

Okay, but can you apply that same logic to a Dementia ridden politician?

reply

If people put their politics aside, this is wrong plain and simple. Nobody should be fired for their social media posts, period.

reply

Why not? Most companies have a code of conduct in which people can and do get fired for what they do outside of work hours. Including posting on social media. This isn't something that's limited to hollywood.

reply

So what? It's wrong period and the people shouldn't tolerate it. Companies should only care about one's ability to get the job done and nothing else.

reply

Sorry. If you work for AT&T, and you publicly post "AT&T sucks! That's why I switched to Sprint!" You're getting fired.

reply

True, but the rules should be enforced uniformly and consistently.

reply

I agree. I think that there is a bit of one sided bias.

That being said....

I think it's also important to know who your employer is as well. When it comes to politics or religion, if the company you work for supports A, probably not a good idea to talk about how A sucks and B is better.

reply

which btw she didn't ...

reply

Uh huh.

We have discussed this before. Her posts were poking the bear. It is confirmed that she was warned. She didn't listen, or care.

The post about pronouns in bios make fun of those who do it. She said it was because of pressure. Okay, make a point by not putting pronouns or asking a question. Her post was in poor taste.

Posting about masks, and not wanting to wear them is harmful. You can argue with me on that if you want, but if wearing masks allows businesses to be open, to be against them is hurting a lot of people, especially in the performing industry and in tourism, like Disney.

Then posting the picture which she used with the woman being beaten for being jewish pre WWII and comparing it to getting in trouble on social media was in bad taste.

So, yeah, she did.

reply

Man, that's just your opinion.

reply

My opinion is that if you want to keep your job, know what your employer stands for. If you are posting stuff online and you are getting warnings from your employer and your management team to stop and you don't stop, don't be surprised when you lose your job.

It doesn't matter that I may or may not find something offensive. It matters that a lot of other people do. You can argue that it isn't, and someone else can argue that it is. What really matters is if the company who pays the bills is okay supporting a narrative. Disney wasn't okay supporting that narrative.

reply

Not wanting to wear a mask bad. Saying Trump supporters should jump head-first in to a wood chipper good.

reply

I've never said that, but if you are referring to Jack Morrisey the difference is that he apologized right away. He recognized that what he said was wrong. Because it was wrong.

reply

There's problem right there. What Gina said wasn't wrong.

reply

According to you. I'm sure there a bunch of left wingers who thought that what Morrisey said wasn't wrong either.

reply

I agree she wasn't smart about what she did, but I also say she didn't do the main things she was accused of. She wasn't transphobic, never advocated for not wearing masks, and wasn't anti-Semitic.

reply

As long as they don't bad mouth their employer. Which she didn't.

reply

And i can think some good reason to bad mouth Disney. Like Paying there park employees like shit. Thanking china for letting film near Muslim Concentration Camps. There founder being a racist, etc, etc, etc.

reply

Oh for sure. The Mousehouse is obviously a bad and evil fucking company.

reply

“I don’t know what people at Disney personally believe or don’t believe with regard to politics, but as a corporate entity, they want to stay as trouble-free as possible. And anything that’s going to offend the left is a problem,”

So in other words follow the Far-Left Borg Hive Mind or face the consequences. Im not even a conservative, i dont agree with everything she said and i think this bullshit. And if Disney wants to be "Trouble-Free" they might want to think twice before filming a movie near a Chinese concentration camp where uighur muslims are being mistreated and thanking the people who are running it. So Disney can take there moral high ground and shove it up there ass.
