Who thought that this kid in Narnia 3 was a girl? It reminded me of Cathy Bigby who played Peter Pan in the musical (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0255873/), someone who was a girl playing a male role. But then I came on here and found out it is indeed a boy who played Eustace. His voice throughout the film sounded girlish and fake as if he would be trying to mask his female voice - except it really is a boy. I've asked others who've seen it, they all thought it was a girl too (no offense to the kid). Did anyone else feel the same?

No he has male feature's. Well you could see Cathy Bigby was played by a girl.

And no Will Poulter is not a girl. He just can change his voice to sound very stuck up pre Dragon Eustace and more relaxed post Dragon Eustace. He is an excellent actor!

well, i didn't think he was a girl, he just totally acted like one. the single prissiest boy i have ever seen. and don't even get me started on his pig nose....

I'm more shocked that he's 17 years old. He looks like he's 12.

He was around 15-16 when the movie was filming. But he acted like a 12 year old kid. Which is truly brilliant.

Agreed...If your comment is a complement.
Will Poulter was AMAZING in VDT and although yes he does look young etc I don't think that that is a bad thing. It made him more realistic and as he is in the book.
And haters of the appearence, google him, he looks totally different! goergous! compared to him in role as Eustace.
I'm not trying to be horible or change opinions, but I think people should remember that occaisionaly actors do look themselves up on line and so its a little offensive to keep going on about apearences. Look at talent instead. (This isn't aimed at anyone on this thread so far but i really hope that future posters will think about that and refrain from offending) But yeah, sorry about that, rant over! :-) I just wanted to say!

I don't think the OP was saying anything about his acting. I actually came here myself to see if he was a boy or girl too. I almost knew he was a boy, but every once in a while, he did seem to be a girl. Weird. I find his acting to be very British, which is a good thing. He may be the best part of the movie so far.
