Nina didn't influence other cast members to start smoking. They probably have been doing it for years, as a lot of people start in their teens.

I hope that they stop, smoking can cause you to have very bad health and it's a horrible habit to break.

Ok firstly I wasn't actually aware of this. I am a tad shocked and I think it's a disgusting habit and it does color my opinion of people who do so especially young rolemodels with young fanbases however IMO it's their life and they can do exactly what they want. As for influencing, seriously? They have their own mind. Do you serioulsy think they are coerced? Noone could coerece me for sure.
Though the above, people start smoking in their teens? I don't know if it's changed but that certainly wasn't the case for me in my area. In my school's social circles in the late 90s/early 00s quite a few people experimented with alcohol, drugs and smoking however not many actually took up smoking (or drugs)and they were mostly the no-hopers, conserding we were all hyper aware of the many negatives in this day and age. 30 years ago sure... these days you're an idiot to do so with the info available.
