Where is the original Rebekah Mikaelson?

Where is the original Rebekah Mikaelson? no pun intended :)

For sure there is something they are not sharing with the media.

She was the only female sibling and important part of the story; producers and creators said time and time again they love Claire and would like to work with her again.

All of us thought she will be back and yes she did in a very cool way in the season 1 final.

Like everybody I thought she is back for good but no; somehow she is not back.

I don't care how the new one is talented; once you get attached to a character which has a 3 year background including TVD, you miss the originals actress

Anybody know the real reason she is not in the originals anymore as we all know initial explanation on her first departure that she wanted to be with her family was *beep*

I miss her too (she's my fav) so I did some digging a few weeks back. She "quit" bc she was homesick but she can come back anytime she wants. It really sucks but the makers love her they r willing to keep it open ended. My suggestion... Bug the hell out of her on social media;)

There is definitely something we dont know. Why would she leave a leading hit tv show for a smaller part in a pilot.

Didnt she used to go out with the actor who plays Klaus; maybe she cant stand him anymore :)))

1. Her and Joseph Morgan dating was just a rumor
2. She was not the female lead on The Originals and The Originals is not really a hit show.
3. She has a good supporting role in a 13 episode first season {I hope} on a larger network and it is not a kiddie show which is all the TV she has done so far. At 26 it is high time she move on to more adult roles

I seen she was doing other things, but come on!!! ;) TV Actors do movies all the time while they aren't filming for their show... SHE NEEDS TO COME BACK!!!!! :(

"Kiddie" show... Really? Kids are *beep* up these days. I thought they were watching Spongebob.

I know nothing about her new show. But, I hope she does go back to the Originals. All I know of her new show is that it is on NBC. NBC produces the least amount of good television shows out of any network channel. I rank them very low. On the other hand, the show has less opportunity to be cancelled on NBC, because their standards aren't as high, as they don't have a ton of other shows they can replace it with.

I think when they say kiddie shows meaning shows aimed towards a teenage audience like before she was on TVD she did H20 which was a teen show and TVDs is also mainly aimed towards teens, and as much as it tries not to, The Originals has that same type of audience. Sorry but it's true: If your audience is more into ships and how hot the actors are then storyline then your fanbase are teenyboppers. Seriously just go on the board for TVD or TO and half of the threads are about those things! Plus yeah NBC is the lowest out of ABC, FOX and CBS but it is above the CW though which is what matters right now. It's pretty true that people don't take CW shows or even the network very seriously unlike NBC.
