Hollywood needs to stop force feeding him to us

Armie Hammer can be a great actor. Hell, watch The Social Network. He was fantastic. The Lone Ranger just felt like he was being forced at us by Hollywood. Like, "look! The new Brad Pitt! The new Tom Cruise! New! New! New!" It's the same thing they did with Taylor Kitsch and look how he turned out.
Hollywood needs to calm the F down and let Hammer slowly become a star, not just forcing him into TLR, which was ill-conceived and even iller-executed.

that's what happens when you can afford a publicist before you actually have done work to get a fan base, the publicist pushes your name out there and the public gets annoyed.

I've never seen him in a single movie. Maybe you should stop watching movies with him in it. It's your choice.

He did well.

I thought he was perfect in The Lone Ranger. The chemistry between him and Johnny Depp was wonderful. I think Hammer has pretty good comedic timing. There are some great scenes in TLR where he delivers his lines perfectly.

I felt Armie was too immature of an actor to take on the part of Lone Ranger. He was poorly cast and for me took away from my enjoyment of Lone Ranger. I feel like the guy who played his brother would have been a better choice for the Lone Ranger role.

Armie's acting in Lone Ranger was almost unwatchable. He needs to season his acting craft before taking on any more roles of substance or playing opposite of seasoned talent.

Haven't seen much of this actor but what I have seen has not been impressive. I am sure in time he will grow but giving his these large roles before he is ready.

... End of line.
