Long Division - Kiese Laymon

This brilliant book exists as a movie in my brain... I really wish it were reality.

Donald Glover- plays City
Janelle Monae - plays Baize or Shalaya
Andre Benjamin - quick cameo as the uncle in the past before the dance off with the Outkast song (so meta!)
Mos Def - plays Uncle Relle
Not sure about other characters... also ages seem a bit off, but if you read the book, you'd understand.

"Uncle Relle was the type of uncle who, when he wasn't sleeping at some desperate woman's house and eating up all her Moon Pies, was in jail or sleeping in a red X-Men sleeping bag at my Grandma's house."
(Clearly the Xmen sleeping bag should be changed to Spiderman)

Also, just wanted to say I'm always worried Donald is doing okay. The world needs his talented self in all it's forms.
