I honestly can't believe some people out there believe blind items. Stories that are written anonymously, clearly just to stir *beep* and cash in on people's curiosity (literally through garnering more hits to their sites). And most importantly, could be tipped in by ANYONE.
The media has been trying to pass the idea that Ashley and Robert Pattinson are shagging on the side for as long as I remember. Ever wonder why those stories never blow up within the Twilight fandom itself? You'd think by how crazy and invested the 'Robesten' fans are that they'd be furious! But the majority just laugh them off. It's because of how hilariously fictitious they sound when you are following these actors closely. Ashley is pretty much the closest female cast member to Kristen, they've always seemed so friendly and it's clear to everyone. I've lost counts of the times Ashley gushed about her in interviews and let slip innocently/inadvertently how perfect she thinks Kristen and Rob are for each other. She and Rob were paired for the Breaking Dawn Part I promotional tour and it couldn't have been more obvious how platonic and brotherly their relationship really is. It clearly shows. Hell, he's not even her type (eh, hello Joe Jonas). So as much as the tabloids try to believe she's after him, because lets be real, how deliciously scandalous that would be, it's just not true.
And for the record, the blind you posted seems to be based on and a followup to another one that came a few months ago (during their Breaking Dawn tour) by CDAN. The guy is a down right liar who's just been lucky a couple of times. Ashley isn't the vixen that's been passed around that everyone seems to think she is. Hollywood is just notorious for linking her (and every female celebrity) with every guy she comes within a 10 ft radius of. And like her costar and BFF Kellan Lutz (whom she's been falsely linked to, too) once said: she's "one of the guys" and just happens to have many male friends. Since her 9 months relationship with Joe Jonas, she's been in a very committed relationship with musician and broadway actor Reeve Carney. They're together for almost a year now. Some Facebook private photos that leak from time to time show how clearly in love they are. And the fact that you rarely ever see paparazzi photos of them, hell, the majority of media outlets even think Ashley is still single, tells me she cares a great deal about him and wants their relationship to work. The part about her having STD is ridiculous. How would Kristen know? LOL.
