I watched the first season of The Americans and thought she was an attractive woman in her mid-40s. However, according to IMDB, she was born in 1976, which would make her 36 when the first season was filmed! Is that accurate? She looks much older than 36.

She actually looks her age but you're so used to seeing okder people looking younger because of 'work done' on them, you're finding it difficult to determine the age of Alison.
Clue, people over 40 have jowls, their skin also loses elasticity.
Alison does not have jowls but you can see they are approaching, which puts her age at about 38 today. Her skin tone is tight too, placing her age below 40. There is nothing about her which suggests she is older than 40.
She is 7 years younger than myself and TBH I thought she was at least 7-10 years older than me. I am very very shocked and surprised that she is 7 years younger than myself and I find it hard to believe. BTW I am British and so that quote by the other person who said 'She's British' is very rude. That almost implies that British women look old for their age and also don't care about how how they look? The person who said that obviously doesn't know many British women. We don't have to have loads of surgery as mostly we look good for our age thank you very much x
