Preemptively blaming sexism for her bad box office record and adjusted pay

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-11193603/Jennifer-Lawrence-speaks-bothersome-5million-pay-gap-Leonardio-DiCaprio.html

she is trying to get ahead of it so she can blame Hollywood paying her less on sexism.

1. you arent Leo
2. you had 6 box office bombs in a row. when you rent making Hollywood money. they won't pay you crazy amounts.

she got paid more than Pratt did in passengers and yet that film broke even. she's now trying to make excuses why Hollywood lowered her pay

Someone should dig up how much money was she payed in a movies, where she was was more famous star. And then ask her what she thinks of that

Like:

- The Hunger Games. How much Liam and Josh were payed. I’m sure she was payed twice more then Josh Hutcherson. Despite him being main character too.

- Joy

- Passengers. She was bigger star at the moment then Chris Pratt despite him being lead. So she was probably payed more.

- Mother! How much Javier Bardem was payed

- Red Sparrow

- Dark Phoenix. How much more she was payed then other supporting cast like Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan. She was for a few scenes there but something tells me she was payed way more then those two.

reply

exactly. the fact she thinks she deserves the same as Leo too is one of the most delusional shit ive ever heard. if she actually believes she anywhere close to his level, she's been smoking crack

reply

Wow. Another female who’s only receiving sexist comments on her board. Not a surprise to be honest but it’s pretty funny how hypocritical this is.

reply

you dont seem to know what hypocritical means...

reply

Well, you ARE kinda calling her sexist and then making a sexist comment about her . . .so I get the 'hypocrite' aspect even though I agree that she shouldn't make as much money as Leo, Dicaprio is the bomb.

reply

I'm betting you're frustrated she's not a POC, then you could wave the 'racism!' flail around blindly too.

reply

this post is way too ironic for me...
