Replace Rick Flagg

Suicide Squad was a mess that is making bank at the box office. So it's probably going to get a sequel. Hopefully the second attempt doesn't double down on the mistakes of a movie whose script had to be written in 6 weeks and was then furiously re-shot and edited in a post-Batman v Superman panic.

One of the biggest improvements they could make is by ditching Joel Kinnaman for Scott Eastwood. Joel was insufferable. He had a dirtbag face and a redneck drawl that made all of his dialogue sound extra douchey... like he was probably an NRA member who listens to Luke Bryan and watches Fox News.

Not to mention the name "Flagg" just sounds like a child's idea of a what a soldier should be named. "How can we convey that he's super patriotic? Let's do a word association game and narrow it down from there."

Edwards is just an ordinary name and Scott Eastwood has a more likable and charismatic presence. There was a ton of interest in what his role would be leading up to the film and I'm sure it left many people disappointed. Why not promote him to lead the Squad for the sequel?

Male actors rarely make it big before they are 30...I think he's doing very well for himself so far... He just needs one big role like with Chris Pratt.

I'm pretty sure his character died. He blew himself up. Pretty hard to be the lead when you're dead and all. Not to mention the story about the death of his former girlfriend since then. Think a lot of people don't find him so likeable anymore.

Joel's always been a bad actor and Scott should have had the star power to have a bigger role.

What are you talking about? Joel Kinnaman saved this film, carried it single handely 👍
