Plenty of younger actors have played older brothers to actors who were older than them. Christian Bale is younger than Mark Wahlberg but played his older brother in Fighter. Ben Medelsohn plays the eldest brother in Bloodline but is actually the youngest out of the Rayburn family in real life. It happens. Besides, Cillian is young looking despite being older.
