She just got a Tony nomination and landed a role in Black Panther. Plus she has another film coming out this year. You call her a failure when things are starting to pick up for her. Lol
She has dark skin and is a woman, she's doing as well as can be expected in racist and sexist Hollywood.

Lupita is doing fine. She was nominated this year for her work in the play, Eclipsed, which got her a Tony nomination.
Besides being voices in the blockbuster & critically acclaimed, Star Wars & Jungle Book, she got good reviews for her role in Queen of Katwe. The movie's also getting decent reviews. She's also going to be in Marvel's Black Panther. Not too shabby.
