True Blood ended we see his scenes wouldn't have been THAT homoerotic

That's the funniest part of this all.

He quit. Everyone called him a homophobe. He is called a crappy actor.

And the funniest part of it all is he quit and his scenes wouldn't have even been that homoerotic. There wasn't even any nudity. He had way more sexual scenes in the previous season.

Well he lost a fan in me for sure.

What does the amount of nudity have to do with anything? He didn't want to play the storyline. He didn't play the storyline. Looks like he wins. It's not like staying on the show was going to get him anything that he will miss very much. He's still working steadily, on some pretty high profile projects.

And it wasn't everyone who called him a homophobe. It was a few oddly offended people who never explained exactly why his decision makes him a homophobe. I don't get the bitterness. Is this really that big of a deal to you?

You do realize an actor from True Blood called him out from his decision and said HBO will probably never work with him again.

reply

Again, that tool expressed his opinion and SAID HBO will PROBABLY never work with him again. HBO is NOT saying they would never work with him again nor has HBO made any kind of statement for or against Luke's decision. They have better things to do with their time. They got another actor and moved on. And, as Informant stated, Luke has moved on to high profile projects. Meanwhile the new actor barely had one scene an episode, if that. Considering that amount of screen time, it really doesn't matter why Luke chose to bow out. He obviously made the right decision. Work with Clint Eastwood and Bradley Cooper or stay on a show where he might have one quick scene an episode. hmmmmmm...that is a tough one!

Yeah, I'm sure he's losing sleep over what a pussy social justice warrior thinks of him.

If given the choice I would much rather take 2 seasons on True Blood over movies. Lots of movie actors only have one or two scenes in a movie which they stupidly quit a show to do.

He seems like an uptight prude and people are dumbfounded he went on True Blood in the first place. Didn't he know nearly everyone has a gay scene in that show?
