I saw her in episode 8, first season of The Flight of the Conchords, and she's very very beautiful. It's hard to understand if someone is talented from a 25 minutes show in which she appeared for 5 mins, but she was very good in the song scene. I hope she finds the chance to do more popular work, she deserves it.

I don't want to bring about propaganda thing again,but why such kind of lady is rare in hollywood today..wasn't that facial feature combination --sparkling blue or green eyes and dark hair considered strickingly beautiful? say Elizabeth Taylor, Vivien Leigh and many.
ironically, there are many blondes today but they mostly have brown eyes, a few exceptions "happen" to be stereotypically unattractive.
some similar "dark" actresses have brown eyes too,Jennifer Connelly, Courtney Cox, Carrie Ann Moss and Geraldine Pailhas.

share@kayes1 - Normally I'd be allied with you in your protest, but I think you're misinterpreting the OP's comment. I think he/she was just implying that on the strength of her small part in the one show in which he saw the actress that she deserves more exposure. Whether that greater exposure would prove her a fine thespian or a Megan Fox-caliber joke would remain to be seen. I think Yolas just wants to see an actress he thinks shows a good deal of promise to have a chance either to demonstrate or to refute it. It's a bit of an overreaction to call the poster a moron without taste based solely on such a comment.
FWIW, as a young, straight woman, I think JDR is gorgeous, and she was the only part of "Year One" that made me laugh even a little.
