Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Taylor all flopping. Rihanna has her album coming up next, expect it to flop in sales and the charts. The industry has moved on and the top players are Ariana and Billie. Out with the old in with the new.

Are there generations in music? I don't listen much to pop, but I have this idea of Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Rihanna, and such being from the same generation and these ones you mention being the next.

Yes, that's very much it. They are the old guard that is being replaced by the new guard (Ariana and Billie)

Can't remember the last time I heard much from Rhianna at all. I think it was that Diamonds song which was 8 years ago.

-We don't know for sure if her next album is going to flop.

-Ariana Grande is popular for NOW but she'll eventually flop like the others are in a few years.
