If that's true it'd be really cool. I have high hopes for the final season since the show was was so surprisingly good last season.
Lena Dunham has a great eye for talent. Girls has one of the strongest guest cast rosters. I never got the accolades about "GIRLS". Too much whining and 'drama' coming from a bunch of spoiled young people. The only character I cared about is the cafe manager Ray, plus the actor is quite good. Jemima Kirke is also good, considering she has no training as an actress, she's a natural and obviously quite talented.
Lena Dunham has actually been the weakest link in the series, LD should have never cast herself in the lead, mostly because Lena isn't much of an actress. Doing so constantly caused critics and viewers to compare her with the Hannah character. Many saw Hannah as too close to Lena's own privileged background. Lena's parents are wealthy NYC artists.
I do agree the guest cast always consisted of top-notch actors and actresses. Don't assume Lena was the person casting for guest roles, the series does use a casting director. It always takes more than one person to make a series, or film, good or great. The behind-the-scenes creative people should also be acknowledged.
