Riz Ahmed looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like Danny Pudi. There is no resemblance whatsoever. Besides, Danny is very tall.

Are you the type of person who thinks all people from India and Pakistan look the same? Or that Chinese and Japanese people look the same?

Riz is hardly a 'wooden' actor. Riz is amazing, nuanced and he always becomes the characters. I always see the characters...I never see Riz.

Sure, he's portrayed some cold and ruthless characters, such as Naz in "Closed Circuit", Riz's cold detached demeanor was important to portraying an MI-5 agent. Perhaps you need to learn what acting is all about?

You also might want to check out more of Riz's films and his appearances in the many TV series worked on over the years. During his short career, he's portrayed a diverse group of UK and US characters.

As Naz in "The Night Of", his character, he was initially stunned and confused as to what transpired, which explains his the 'deer-in-the-headlights' demeanor throughout the first episode....then, as "The Night Of" progressed....viewers saw how complex Naz truly was, as well as somewhat mysterious.

Naz's mother in the series even questioned his innocence. Naz kept so many people guessing.

Besides, Danny is very tall.

Danny Pudi's height can easily be Googled...Danny is 6 feet tall. That's much taller than Riz, Riz's height is listed as 5'8". Riz is also very slight, which actually makes him look even smaller. Riz has great posture, but he is not considered tall.

In photos as well as on the screen, most thin people do appear taller.

If you caught Riz's recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon's talk show, Riz was much shorter than Jimmy, Jimmy is 6 feet tall. Any performer's height can easily be Googled.

All you have to do is look at photos of Riz standing along side most of his co-stars, he's usually the shortest person in the photos. In high heels, Riz's "Rogue One" co-star Felicity Jones is Riz's height, she's 5'3" without heels.

At the "Rage" film photo call, actress/model Lily Cole towered over Riz, she's 5'10". Lily was wearing heels at the photo call, which made Riz appear even shorter!
