What's a TRUE FAN?

I would say that a TRUE FAN shows more or less unconditional love. For example, some of Riz’s raps could be considered quite misogynist. However, if we look back on the history of rap, at least how I remember it developing in New York back in the day, it can sometimes be that way. This is part of the genre; the same criticism could be lodged at glam rock (I even wrote a very early editorial on the subject in Melody Maker once). Like an actor—what RIZ really is—he must take on a ROLE, whether he’s rapping, singing, acting, or just looking FINE in a fitted tuxedo!

How about swimming trunks?

Hey now-- Although I gave up smoking years ago (we all did it back in the day, otherwise you weren’t “cool”), there’s a LIMIT to what my heart can take! 

A remake of The Blue Lagoon with RIZ would go nice with a hot bubble bath.

My husband would be so jealous if he read this, but I don’t feel bad after all those years of his Christy Brinkley obsession! Pay back. 

I realize Millennials like you are GLUED to their phones all the time and don’t see much of the world. But it used to be that films like THE BLUE LAGOON were natural and normal eroticism. It was ART. Something you may not know much about. I, on the other hand got a degree in ART (as have many of my friends), so I think we know SOMETHING about it. Don’t try to bring VILE prurient interest into this discussion, young man.
