Great addition to TVD cast!

I've got to give him credit, I wasn't very enthusiastic about the new twist with the male Lockwoods being some type of supernatural entities but what I was expecting to be cheesy is offset by the tone of the writing and his acting thus far.

He's running with something I thought I would be gigglesnorting at with derision at the end of season 1 and only 2 episodes in he's genuinely making me interested not only in his character, the family's 'curse' but also the Lockwood family itself which I think not many were fond of in general.

I think finding/casting him was a seriously lucky break.
