He's 34? Seriously???!!!

I have been watching him on Chicago Fire for most of this season, and he's obviously very good looking. However, I am having a real hard time believing he is only 34, as of July of this year. His hair is not just whispers of salt & pepper but nearing George Clooney salt & pepper. He looks to be at least in his mid 40's. Does he dye his hair to appear older and more seasoned in Chicago Fire?

Many people go prematurely gray. It's the end of the melanin that colors the hair. Yes it usually comes as we age but there are other things can bring it about.
I would remind you that 35, 45,55, etc don't look like they used to. The baby boomer generation refuses to become their grandparents and there's proof everywhere.

Don't care. Older looking guys are the hottest anyway. And this man is a perfect 10.

Lot of people's hair gets very early.

You say other things can bring it about...do you have any examples of what? I know stress causing grey hair is a myth.

My family usually grays in our 20's, so that's genetic. My grandmother had pure white long hair, it was quite beautiful, she had a blood transfusion and her hair started turning black again. I don't know if it's our Cherokee blood, or something else. I also used to work at a nursing home where there was a 90 year old woman with barely any gray hair.

My husband, who looks a lot like Taylor, is 37 and 75% gray. I am 41 and still get carded in bars. Not everyone ages "traditionally."

I thought the same thing OP a lot of actors lie about their age I also thought Taylor was in his 40s.
