I don't think I'll ever understand all this background/descent
In her biography, it says she's of German, Scottish, French, Cherokee, Mexican, Indian, and Arab heritage. How's that possible?! I mean, is her mother an Arab, Her father Indian, her maternal grandfather Mexican, her maternal grandmother Cherokee, her paternal grandfather French, her paternal grandmother Scottish and one of her great-grandparents German? - or are we talking about great great grandparents or further back kinship? And most importantly, why does it matter?
I know a lot of people think there no such thing as a "real" american, because the USA basically consist of immigrants. I don't know what to think of that, and I actually don't care. But what I really don't understand, is why it's relevant to know where a persons great great grandparents was from.
