I wish Summer had more roles

She plays one of my favourite characters in The Magicians (which I’ve only started watching on Blu-ray in the last week or so). Margo is so awesome and entertaining. She gets so many funny lines/moments and her relationship with Eliot is one of the best in the show, I think. This is the first role I’ve seen Summer Bishil in, and she’s just so lovely. She plays the role perfectly. I do like that underneath all the snarkiness, there are other layers. I really enjoyed the scenes she shared with Alice in one of the earliest episodes and how she said when Alice was leaving “I like competition.” in reply to Alice thinking Margo would be happy she was leaving, as it meant less competition. Then there was a scene with Quentin in a later episode where she found a little common ground with him in enjoying the Fillory books – she seemed really sincere about that. I just wish Margo wasn’t missing from some episodes. What’s up with that?
