She's not pulling off the veteran Chairman of the Board. She might be a good actress but I just don't buy her in this role.

I don't buy a lot of the casting in Westworld. There are only 4 actors who are good in their roles, and it's not TT.

I'm usually a fan of Tessa though, so I think it's just bad writing. The only reason why this show gets a pass is because of world building. But their actual character scriptwriting is terribly sub par.

The entire series does a bad job projecting the future and relies on modern commercial television casting.

Watch Season 3 when they're in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The scenes there resemble a cliched luxury car commercial.
