No, it actually pains me to watch her in Once Upon A Time. One word: overacting. I haven't seen her in any of her other roles, so maybe it's just the way the writers wrote this part, but watching her try-hard facial expressions really makes me want to gouge my own eyes out. She does make a believable young Snow with those facial expressions and the tone of her voice, but honestly, if she were to tone it down A LOT, it would be much better. It's sad to see so many people praising her as if she were a young Streep for her "dramatic" deliveries, when in reality, her overacting is simply fooling those people.

inb4 people say to stop being so harsh on a child. Guess what? This is the film industry. It COMES with harsh criticism if you want to make it big. If you can't handle that, you don't belong in the industry.

inb4 people say I'm jealous that I'm not as successful as her. Right, because whenever we say something is wrong with someone's work, we actually secretly wish we were as good as them.

She's young. Less is expected of children. Hasn't been through acting school yet. She's got plenty of years left in her for improvement.

The fact that she can pull emotions and not look wooden as many untrained children are, is a good sign. Someone who overacts can tone it down. Someone who underacts may not be able to tone it up.

She has the talent to do it. With time, she'll be perfect. I was quite impressed with her range tbh.

I strong disagree. She is not overacting and is very believable. She is excellent on Once and has a bright future. There are many adults who aren't as good as her. She is talented and incredibly beautiful.

I know you won't understand this, but saying a beautiful girl is beautiful doesn't make someone a pervert. Believe it or not, children (boys and girls) can be cute or beautiful or handsome. There is no age limit on beauty. Babies can be beautiful too and even elderly people can be beautiful.

People frequently say children are beautiful. If a woman said a child was beautiful, would you object? I bet you wouldn't. Beautiful isn't a strictly romantic word. It can apply to animals, nature, children, and many other things too.

Attractive as in pleasant to look at or good looking, not necessarily romantic or sexually attractive to me personally. For example, George Clooney is an attractive man, but I have no romantic or sexual interest in him.

I know what you mean; I have always found her acting style to be forced and “hammy”. She “chews the scenery” in most of her roles. Of course she’s still fairly young, so she may very well improve with experience. Most child actors learn to be good with practice, but only some are incredible from the start (e.g., Dakota Fanning); that’s why they’re called prodigies. Bailee may not be a prodigy, but she can still be really good some day (like everything else, the earlier you start, the more practice and experience you can get).

I agree whole heartedly...trust me, she's over acted in everything I've seen her in so far...those facials she gives weren't rehearsed for this role they've always been her technique lol
