Rooney Mara on ER's 15th season

I remember watching her 2-episode stint (including the episode where George Clooney returns) during the final season of ER and remembering how great she was during her scenes. Her acting was very natural and believable. In the few scenes she had with Angela Basset, you believe her motives and you believe her desire to change.

After watching her on ER, I hoped she would go on to be a star. I'm so glad she has. She's been nominated for two Oscar's and hopefully she wins one. If Jennifer Lawrence can constantly win, so should Mara.

I watched those 2 episodes without knowing who Rooney was when they were aired, I was really impressed. Then I had no idea she was the same person who gave that amazing opening in the social Network. Until TGWTDT… I was a huge fan of the books, and I must admit I was like why they want to re-do this… the trailer won me over, that part when she’s walking in the office and sitting in that meeting room, I was like that is Salander! since then, I’ve been watching every movie she does, for me, she’s the best actor ever. Normally you say, this actor was good in this movie and nothing else happens, but Rooney, she will blow you away again and again. Such a prodigy. I agree with you she deserves to be recognize in award shows, but is a shame those who vote don’t do it for the real talent. Good thing she won best actress at cannes last year! Have you seen Tanner Hall? that was around her appearance in ER, another solid start before the Social network and The Girl with dragon Tattoo.
