CSI Changed Her Age to Younger... Ridiculous!

In the episode she was in, there is a scene where they show a screen with her character's info on it. It reads:

DOB: December 4, 1986 (Real, Feb. 22, 1982)
Age: 27 (Real: probably 30 when the episode was shot) / Height" 5'9" (Real: 5'7")
Race: Asian / Sex: F
Hair: Brown / Eyes: Brown

So they made her younger and taller? Why? IMO, she is one of the most beautiful actresses out there and I'm sure she will still be at 35, 40, 45, 50 and beyond. Can she pass for 27? Of course! These days women don't start to look "older" until their late 30's, if that. Really, what does the number say, except that perhaps one is more experienced and mature (good things!). Is 5'7" considered short (well, I suppose perhaps by modeling standards, which are totally abnormal)?

There was no reason for her character to be 27. Isn't it time that being over 30 isn't "over the hill" in hollywood?

Most actors are older than their characters so dichen playing a 27 year old at 30 is fine, its only a three year difference and a 2 inch height difference,its not that bad

Oh, she is flattered that she can still pass for a twentysomething. (Summer Glau played a colege student recently.)

The scriptwriters wrote a role for a 27 year old, so they cast a 30 year old. She's also not a real pharm rep (acting!)--if she does threeways, that's her business.
