Why does he get so much Hate?

he's too realistic and normal for some people, it seems. He's talented, decent looking and all around a nice guys, maybe the audiences have been spoiled with mannequins looking actors.

I can't speak for everyone, but he comes off as a complete douche in so many interviews that now he's just tainted for me. But I don't hate him and in fact, I think he's a pretty good actor actually.
His IMDB says he is 6 foot which needs corrected pronto.

I'm not much on rear-window ethics.

He's pompous and pretentious, and thinks his performance in Whiplash was the best thing in the world but he wasn't even the best afford in the film.

Because he can't act and comes off as a complete douche canoe in all of his interviews? I find it hilarious that his awful performance in the god awful F4tasic is now costing him roles to the equally horrible and pretentious Ryan Gosling. It's like two giant turds fighting it out in the bowl.

I actually like Gosling, but I completely agree with you on Teller. He's a real meatbag and a pretentious jerk. He should be flipping burgers or cleaning toilets somewhere.

I was ok with Gosling until he got so much praise for Drive, and that combined with his interviews for that movie pushed me straight into hater territory.
