It's turns out the studio that did La La Land might have made the right choice. Miles a Teller last few movies been box office flops

He's not a good actor. I mean, he is attractive to a degree. But his attitude and temper makes him an a-hole. Unwatchable.

Gosling was a far better choice. Shame for Teller as it could have still been a hit with him in the lead (though not as huge as it is)

So? His last few films being flops doesn't mean this would have been. He was originally chosen for La La Land because Damien Chazelle already directed him in Whiplash, and he was great in that. There's no doubt he would have been good in La La Land and the film would have still been Oscar nominated and made as much money as it has now.
