She's... awesome in War of the Damned.

Yes, she is.

I can't even imagine the other Naevia as a true action girl as her. Wow. I think she will forget the other one.

Yeah, it works both ways. When we were first introduced to this Naevia, I thought, "Wow, I can't remember her acting like the old one." Now that Naevia is badass, I think, "I can't imagine old Naevia acting like this one."

I'm sure both actresses could play the character both ways, but it's just hard to imagine one doing it better than the other.

It's just the difference between moral actors and moral objects in film; one does things to people, the other get things done to them.

The first Naevia was REALLY good at getting things done to her. that made her easily sympathetic as a character. The new Naevia DOES THINGS TO PEOPLE, which is a part of her action-hero ascendance.

I cannot imagine the soft old Naevia cutting and slicing at Romans. It just doesn't fit the bill.

I can't get behind her. I simply don't like her portrayal at all. I miss the old Naevia.

yea the part she plays is really annoying bitch that manipulates crixus. i hope she would be killed off from series.

The new Naevia is terrible, she isnt near as good as the original and not near as attractive, She was a bad choice for the role.

i actually liked the old navia better.

she better embodied the character. She had a daintiness about her that looked very destroyed after she was disfigured by the house of batiatus as her punishment. I would have liked to see how she would have looked in the warrior garb and everything, and it would have been cooler to have an actress that did not suit the guise of warrior, becoming such a competent one.

The new navia looked too suited for the "warrior" part of the character. She wouldnt have suited the character navia was originally imo tho. It's funny how different actresses played different parts of a character, and that neither of them would have been suitable for the other, yet were so perfect for the ones they played.

although i didnt like the new navia all that much. She always had this terror/crazy look in her eyes, which i realize was intentional, but it just got annoying and made her character easy to hate and had me cheering for times when her character failed. She just seemed like a spoiled kid to me, even though her character was justified in her attitude. Thats why the look bothered me. Maybe the actress just didnt come off correctly to me.
