Her American accent was so bad, it sounded like she had a speech impediment. It didn't help she mumbled most of her lines.

I thought she played the role very well. Beats the melodramatic hysteria you see from female actresses in 99pc of todays horror films. The tone of this film is laid back in a classic 'Rosemary's Baby' kind of way and i think her acting complimented that. Makes the mood much more eerie.

I agree! Thought she played the role brilliantly and seeing a new face on screen is refreshing instead of the same old.

Why critice her because of her accent? Movies are universal. I don't remember listening Tom Cruise speaking German, or Keanu Reeves pretending to speak british English in Dracula.

Were you there for the direction or any of the production; and your body of work is so titilating, enamouring, thrilling even, that we should read the drivel you spout as if it's coming from a trained thespian who's, even now, on the cusp of international stardom....Oh sorry, that's Annabelle !!
