shareI don’t subscribe to that philosophy but when the oppressed become liberated there will always be a backlash against the oppressors, and I think it’s naive to expect that centuries of oppression will be forgiven and forgotten in a matter of decades.
It’s all pretty tiresome though, right? Imagine if we directed all that energy expended on race divisions towards saving our planet and working as a global team. I suppose that’s a nice pipe dream.
We were on our way to doing just that. Then men like Sharpton and Obama came along and created new divisions. And black people have oppressed people as much as anyone. Trump has denounced white supremacists many times. Remember that little 'fine people on both sides' comment liberals have said repeatedly proves he is racist? Well, what they omit is what he said right after that, when he denounced white supremacists and the KKK and specifically said he did not include them as fine people. The truth is the great sanitizer. Except with liberals.

I honestly don’t think the Trumpster has a strong affiliation with white supremacists but that said they do seem to love him and he’s clearly hedging his bets to keep them on side. Those very good people vote too!
China needs to be addressed, no question, but to me it’s less a matter of offending them than Trump deliberately provoking them with rhetoric that serves one purpose only, to reassign the blame for his own failings to an evil empire. Why else can’t he say Coronavirus instead of China virus.

Since the end of May, they have been rioting. Have they taken a day off? Half a billion dollars damage in Minneapolis.
