If we all saw a picture of what the real Jesus looked like

None of us would believe it, case in point , history isnt really history, we dont even know Jesus ever existed.

But what we DO know, most certainly, is the depiction of him having long hair, a goatee, and being pasty white, is completely made up, based on NO contemporary accounts of his appearance (there are none) and really an obvious Medeval depiction of what European white men looked like in the middle ages.

So now, any time i even see a picture of what people THINK he looked like, i die alittle inside. Because i know every single picture of Jesus is a lie to everyone its shown to, because no accounts exist of what he looked like, except for medeval paintings 400-600 years later.

How do you paint a picture of someone who died 400 years ago, who there are NO ACCOUNTS OF WHAT HE LOOKED LIKE?

The version of Jesus we know, is a reflection of us. We don't want to know what Jesus really looked like.'

I know what he looks like because he sends me selfies on my toast all the time and he looks like those paintings.

Or get the picture they wanted. My grandmother had a black Jesus hanging in the hallway off the kitchen.

Since nobody knows what Jesus looked like (if he even actually existed), he could have looked like the traditional light-skinned, goateed, long-haired image. Middle-eastern people are Caucasians, and have a wide range of skin colors, nose sizes, hair textures and colors, etc. If you had gone to that part of the world 2,000 years ago, you would have seen some men with beards, and some with long hair. There is no reason why Jesus could not have looked very much like he has been imagined by most artists for the past several centuries.

Nat Geo actually did a forensic study on the possibility of Jesus' appearance. What they ended up with was this
