Switched at Birth
Its always great to see new talent on TV and the fresh face of Katie Leclerc is no exception. While having dabbled in previous projects, Katie is making her official debut in the new ABC Family series Switched at Birth. Katie plays Daphne Vasquez, who, after accidentally being switched as a newborn, has grown up in a working class neighborhood with her single mother. Communication becomes an issue for Daphne, who lost her hearing at an early age to meningitis, when she meets her wealthy birth parents and the two families different backgrounds collide.
