Went to school with my brother

At Notre Dame (my brother was 2001, Rami was 1999). My brother knew Rachel Bilson and Kristen Dunst briefly while there too, or the people that hung out with them in the school.

When I asked him about Rami he said that Rami was the type that everybody underestimated: nobody thought he was going to go anywhere. He was passed over in high school acting, my brother remembers, and his classmates that have kept in touch were all super surprised at Rami's success compared to other drama kids who they swore had a chance.

I'm glad for Rami's success, and even more for hearing this. I like the dark horse that comes out of nowhere and surprises everybody, especially if nobody notices you to begin with. It's thirty times better when you reap that success.
