Mika Waltari's novel, "The Egyptian," about a mysterious, talented physician whose destiny leads him to the court of king Akhenaten and to the turbulent lands of the ancient world would be an excellent project for Sam Esmail to film. Sinuhe, the novel's protagonist, would be incarnated in Rami Malek, also of Egyptian ancestry.

Sasha Baron Cohen was orginally supposed to be in this but he and the band disagreed.,..he wanted a "worts and all" type character. The band wanted mostly the positives. I just wonder though...can he sing?
